The unusual TMNT: Tactical Takedown game is coming to Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch next week with a new difficulty mode
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown, an unusual game based on the legendary Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, debuted on Steam in May.
Tactical Takedown was the first turn-based game about the famous Green Brothers and offered a grim story in which Master Splinter and Shredder are dead, and the Turtles are estranged from each other and continue their journey separately.
Here's What We Know
Console users will soon be able to experience this game as well. Strange Scaffold Studios has announced that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown will be released on Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch (1 and 2) as early as 14 August.
The game will get all of the content from the PC version, as well as a new Remix Mode that will allow you to replay each mission with increased difficulty. In this mode, there will be twice as many enemies, their health reserves will increase, and new abilities and capabilities will be added to the arsenal.
Players will have a real need to plan their actions and develop their turtles in the right way, as mistakes will no longer be forgiven.
Remix-versions of each level are unlocked immediately after passing the regular chapters, even if you play Tactical Takedown for the first time.
A little later, the new mode will also appear in the PC version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown as a free update.
