LG has unveiled a new ultra-short-throw CineBeam S (PU615U) projector, which has become the most compact 4K UHD device in the company's line-up.

The manufacturer positions CineBeam S as a solution that combines advanced technology and stylish design to create a new level of home cinema.

Here's What We Know

The device is capable of projecting an image from 40 to 100 inches from just 8.1-39.3cm away from the wall, making it an ideal solution for limited space.

The projector features a three-channel RGB laser system that delivers 500 ANSI lumens of brightness and 154% DCI-P3 colour space coverage. Contrast ratio is up to 450,000:1 and support for HDR10 and Filmmaker Mode ensures high image quality when viewing content.

The CineBeam S runs on webOS 24, providing access to popular streaming services including Netflix, Disney+ and Apple TV. It also features support for wireless streaming via AirPlay 2 and MiraCast.

The audio system includes built-in stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and there are HDMI eARC and two USB-C ports for connecting external devices. The compact dimensions - just 15.3 x 15.3 x 10.3cm - make it easy to integrate the device into any interior.

The projector is already available for pre-order in South Korea, Australia and Canada. Soon the novelty will also appear in the UK at a price of £1099.
