Setting fire, freezing and lightning: Borderlands 4 authors reveal Amon's abilities
Gearbox developers continue to introduce gamers with Borderlands 4 characters. The authors have already shown what the siren Vex and theDidn't want to be a victim: new Borderlands 4 trailer reveals Rafa's soldier backstory are capable of, and now the turn has come to the brutal Amon.
Here's What We Know
Amon is a knight of The Forgeknight and relies heavily on melee weapons in battles, but is also proficient with firearms. His skills are tied to the use of various elements: his axe freezes enemies with a throw, his spear throws lightning, his ice shield knocks projectiles back at enemies, and his wall of fire allows Amon to create cover for himself and his allies.
If you enjoy rushing into battle, taking damage and dealing damage in equal measure, you'll want to consider Amon. Not only is he an enduring frontline fighter, but he also has a mechanically complex set of combat skills with basic and optional features that will allow even the most experienced players to experiment.
When We Can Expect It
Borderlands 4 will release on 12 September on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, while the Nintendo Switch 2 version will be released on 3 October.
