Japanese watchmaker Seiko has announced its first collaboration with Pepsi and has unveiled two limited edition timepieces in the iconic red and blue colour scheme inspired by the Pepsi Max design and classic SKX style.

Here's What We Know

The first model is the Seiko 5 Sports x Pepsi GMT Limited Edition (SSK047)

This is a watch with a black case, dial and the same silicone textured strap. The case measures 42.5mm in diameter and 13.5mm in thickness. Inside is a Seiko 4R34 automatic movement with a power reserve of 41 hours. The watch displays the time, date and has a GMT function that allows you to track up to three time zones. The dial features the Pepsi logo, while the red GMT hand and rotating bezel emphasise Seiko's signature style.

The model has been produced in an edition of 7,000 pieces and costs £470. It will go on sale on 5 September.

The second model is the Seiko 5 Sports x Pepsi Diver Limited Edition (SRPL99)

This watch has a more classic style with a silver case, white dial and Pepsi logo. The case is 38 mm in diameter and 12.1 mm thick. The movement is an automatic Seiko 4R36 with the same power reserve of 41 hours. The watch displays the time, day of the week and date and withstands immersion in water to a depth of 100 metres. The model is fitted with an Oyster-style steel bracelet.

The edition is also limited to 7,000 pieces, priced at £330. It will go on sale on 1 September.

Both models come in branded packaging in the shape of a Pepsi can and feature a transparent back cover with logo and personalised number.
