Perfect for small spaces: Xiaomi has launched a compact washing machine with a load capacity of up to 1kg of laundry for washing and up to 0.5kg for drying
Xiaomi has unveiled a new compact washing machine with a drying function, which is perfect for small spaces and quick laundry.
Here's What We Know
The model is called the Mijia Washing Machine Mini Washer and Dryer and is designed to load up to 1kg of laundry for washing and 0.5kg for drying, which corresponds to two sets of underwear, a pair of yoga pants or pyjamas.
The machine offers 20 programmes including delicate wash, 15-minute express mode and 35-minute Essence Quick Wash, as well as steam sterilisation at temperatures up to 95°C, which kills up to 99.99% of bacteria and viruses.
The Mijia Washing Machine Mini Washer and Dryer has also received a number of AI features:
- automatic detergent dosing based on the degree of soiling;
- blood stain removal;
- remote control via the Mi Home app;
- support for Xiao AI voice commands and OTA updates.
The device is equipped with a touch panel and childproofing system.
The dimensions of the machine are 328×452×461mm and weighs about 22kg.
The Mijia Mini Washer and Dryer is already available in China at a price of $274 (converted from RMB).
