Publisher Nexon and South Korean studio LoreVault announced an ambitious adventure action game Woochi the Wayfarer, which is dedicated to the legends and tales of Korea.

Here's What We Know

Not much is known about Woochi the Wayfarer: players will take on the role of legendary Taoist magician and warrior Jeon Woo-chi, who uses his abilities to fight injustice. Events unfold in a dark fantasy 15th century Korea filled with mythical creatures, shamans and spirits.

In the colourful debut trailer the developers showed an epic battle between the protagonist and a shamaness who turned into a monster.

Woochi the Wayfarer is created on Unreal Engine 5 with an emphasis on cinematic graphics and dynamic battles with a variety of monsters and powerful bosses.

Interestingly, the game's soundtrack is composed by Jung Jae-il, the composer of the popular TV series Squid Game. The music combines traditional Korean motifs with a modern orchestral sound, enhancing the atmosphere of the game

When We Can Expect It

Not even an estimated release date for Woochi the Wayfarer has been announced yet, but it is known that the game will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC.
