How to transform a tracker into a security guard: Pebblebee Clip with Alert Live function
In normal life, the Pebblebee Clip is a small Bluetooth keychain that helps you find your keys or bag. But now it's got a feature that could come in handy in an emergency.
What's changed
A quick double tap activates a loud alarm - a 97dB siren, turns on a bright flashing light, and sends a message with your location to a selected contact from your trusted contacts list.
In the basic version, you can add one such contact. But along with the new Alert Live subscription (≈$3/month or $25/year), there are more options:
- Up to five contacts for emergency notifications
- Real-time location tracking until you note that everything is fine
There's also a "silent mode" - the device will send an alert to loved ones, but won't turn on the siren or lights. This is useful if the situation requires you to act discreetly.

Pebblebee already offered a basic SOS feature before with the launch of Alert, but Alert Live enhances it and adds features that were previously lacking. Now it's no longer just a search for lost items, but also a personal safety tool that's always at your fingertips and works with both Android and iOS.
