Razer has released Wolverine V3 gamepads for PC - tournament level for $120 and $200
Razer has unveiled two new controllers for PC gamers focused on cyber sports: the Wolverine V3 Pro 8K PC and Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition 8K PC. Their key feature is the 8,000Hz response speed, which provides almost instantaneous response to presses, especially important in competitive gaming.
Here's What We Know
Wolverine V3 Pro 8K PC is a wireless model that supports 8,000Hz in both wired and wireless modes. In comparison, the previously released V3 Pro version for Xbox and PC runs at up to 1,000Hz. The controller received sticks with Tunnel Magnetoresistance (TMR) technology and replaceable caps - they provide the same resistance, durability and protection from "drift" over time. Controller weight: 220 g / 0.49 lb.
According to Razer, this is the company's lightest wireless cyber sports gamepad. The ergonomic shape reduces hand fatigue, and additional controls include: four rear mouse-click buttons, two top bumpers for claw grip, HyperTrigger triggers, Mecha-Tactile PBT mechanical buttons, an eight-directional floating D-Pad, and support for customisation via Razer Synapse. It comes with a hard case and a two metre braided cable. Price is $200.
Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition 8K PC - wired version with a similar set of features, including HyperPolling at 8,000 Hz, TMR-sticks, HyperTriggers and Synapse support. It costs less at $120, making it an affordable option for cybersports. The weight is slightly less than the wireless version at 198 g / 0.44 lb.
