Kuxiu has unveiled a new iPad accessory, the M30 Magnetic Charger, which connects via the Smart Connector and allows you to charge your tablet without taking up the USB-C port.

Using the Smart Connector instead of USB-C to charge a tablet is especially convenient for users who need to simultaneously connect external devices such as SSD drives, HDMI adapters or hubs.
The Kuxiu M30 is compatible with iPad Pro and iPad Air models equipped with the Smart Connector, including devices on M2, M3 and M4 chips:
- iPad Pro 13" (M4, 2024)
- iPad Pro 11" (M4, 2024)
- iPad Pro 12.9" (Gen 3-6)
- iPad Pro 11" (generations 1-4)
- iPad Air 13" (M3/M2)
- iPad Air 11" (M3/M2)
- iPad Air 10.9" (Gen 4-5)
Maximum charging power reaches 35W for iPad Pro with M4 and 18W for other models. That's higher than the new Qi2.2 standard, and even faster than wireless charging the iPhone 16 via MagSafe.
The accessory is made of aluminium alloy, weighs just 65 grams and comes with a sturdy two-metre braided cable. The Kuxiu M30 is more compact than a standard MagSafe drive and attaches to the back of the tablet with built-in magnets, ensuring a secure connection.
