Asus will go beyond handheld consoles and release an "extraordinary" controller for Xbox
The gamescom 2025 exhibition starts on the 20th of August, where Xbox will have a huge booth - visitors will be able not only to try out the latest games, but also for the first time to hold in their hands the ROG Xbox Ally handheld consoles, created together with Asus.
But the Taiwanese company is preparing another surprise for gamers!

Asus has published a short teaser that says it will unveil an "extraordinary controller for Xbox" at gamescom 2025. The video doesn't show it in detail, but Asus' signature style is instantly recognisable.
You can see that there will be a few extra buttons on the grip, and the Xbox key will be slightly smaller. The Share and Start buttons also look new and are surrounded by two additional buttons on the front panel.
Given current trends, it's likely that the controller sticks are equipped with Hall effect - this technology increases the durability of the sticks and prevents them from slipping.
