On the stage of gamescom Opening Night Live Paradox Interactive and The Chinese Room studio revealed the (hopefully final) release date of the long-suffering RPG Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2.

Here's What We Know

The author presented a trailer, which reminds that the events of the game will unfold in modern Seattle, and the protagonist will be an ancient vampire, awakened after centuries of sleep.

The protagonist has no memory of his past and hears in his head the voice of a stranger named Fabien, which makes him investigate a mysterious murder that threatens the entire local vampire community.

The developer has revealed that Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 will indeed release on 21 October on PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, as reported in the leak.

Everyone can already pre-order the game, and there are two extended digital editions - Deluxe and Premium. Pre-orders of each come with a Bloodlines Nostalgia jukebox, an in-game decor element featuring original music by Bloodlines 1's iconic composer Rik Schaffer.

The Deluxe Edition includes the Santa Monica Memories set, which will feature decorations for the hero's flat in the style of the first Bloodlines instalment. The set will be available for purchase separately.

The Premium edition includes everything from the Deluxe edition and also guarantees access to the "Shadows and Silk" storyline expansion, in which the developer will give players the opportunity to join the Lasombra and Toreador clans. The expansion can also be purchased separately.
