Demand for Bugatti's new hypercars is so high that potential buyers will have to wait years to get their car, if they get to place an order at all.

Here's What We Know

Bugatti's design director Frank Heyl spoke to CarBuzz and said that the company has so many orders that it can plan for the future with confidence. The brand is now finalising the Bolide track hypercar and preparing to launch the Tourbillon. Those projects alone will take the next four years to complete.

"If you as a business owner have that [financial stability], everything works very reliably," he emphasised.

The Tourbillon is a hybrid hypercar with a three-motor electric system and an 8.4-litre V16 engine. The combined output of the powertrain reaches 1,800 hp, allowing it to accelerate from a standstill to 97 km/h (60 mph) in just 2.0 seconds. The price starts from $4 million, but it is impossible to buy the car from the manufacturer: the entire run has been bought out.

Thus, Bugatti has several years to develop a model that will replace the Tourbillon. What exactly it will become is still unknown, but expectations will obviously be high.
