Huawei confirms the launch date of the Watch GT 6 smartwatch

Huawei has officially announced that the new Watch GT 6 series of smartwatches will be presented on 19 September 2025 in Paris. The information was published on the brand's official website and social media, and a teaser with a first look at the design was released. This is a continuation of last year's GT 5 series, which received a number of updates to its appearance and functions.

Here's What We Know

• Design: octagonal case with rotating crown and button
• Colours: silver and black versions (gold, purple and brown versions were also previously reported)
• Dimensions: GT6 - 41 and 46 mm, GT6 Pro - 46 mm
• System: HarmonyOS 5.1, a new platform for wearable devices
• Features: Sunflower Positioning System (more accurate than GPS), Star Flash, support for a digital car key via NFC/Nearlink.

Huawei's Russian-language website does not mention the GT6, but points to "flagship devices", which means that in addition to the smartwatch, the company is likely to announce the MatePad Air 12 and MatePad 11.5″ tablets. It's unlikely that the company will hold an event in Paris just for the watch, unless it's really cool.
