At gamescom 2025 indie studio Team Cherry made an announcement that millions of gamers have been waiting for - the developer revealed the release date of the long-awaited metroidvania Hollow Knight: Silksong!

A special trailer revealed that Hollow Knight: Silksong, which was announced back in 2019, will be released on the 4th of September!
Recall, it is Hollow Knight: Silksong is the most expected game in Steam.
According to analysts it wants to buy at least 5 million people, and after the presented atmospheric and spectacular trailer, we are sure that there will be even more people who want to buy it.
Developers showed an incredible variety of enemies, unusual locations of the underground world, agility and speed of the main character Hornet and reported that players will meet more than forty unique bosses, which will require stamina, patience, speed and perfect understanding of game mechanics.
At gamescom 2025 many journalists got a chance to try out Hollow Knight: Silksong and were delighted with it. The game takes the best from the first part, but brings every element to perfection and adds new mechanics.
Hollow Knight: Silksong will be available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and both generations of Nintendo Switch, and will be available immediately on the Game Pass catalogue.
