15 minutes of gameplay of The Outer Worlds 2: Obsidian Entertainment gave an extensive demonstration of their new game
An extensive gameplay demo of The Outer Worlds 2 RPG took place at gamescom 2025. Game director Brandon Adler and design director Matthew Singh from Obsidian Entertainment personally presented the novelty and commented on the demo.
Here's What We Know
The developers showed the passage of the location "Tomb of the Matriarch", which is just one of the many places available to visit in the Arcadia Colony from The Outer Worlds 2.
Gamers can also appreciate the updated interface, improved mechanics, the mini-map that replaced the compass, and the gear selection system. In addition, the developers showed the abilities of two companions of the main character - Niles and Tristan. The first is an excellent marksman, and the second attracts the attention of enemies and restrains their onslaught.
When We Can Expect It
The Outer Worlds 2 will release on 29 October on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, including Game Pass.
