The Pacifica Grizzly Peak gets a suspension lift of 2.75 inches (70 mm) at the front and 2.5 inches (64 mm) at the rear. The 18-inch wheels are fitted with 31-inch diameter BFGoodrich KO2 all-terrain tyres.

Here's What We Know

The exterior is highlighted by two-tone bodywork with Arktos matte finish and protective film on the underside, a bear emblem, yellow Baja Designs fog lights and Mopar accessories. On the roof is the Rhino-Rack expedition platform with additional light and ARB retractable awning, while the spare wheel and off-road tracks are mounted on the outside.

The interior, based on the Limited version, is finished in two-tone Katzkin leather with orange stitching and seatbelts to match. For the convenience of travellers, the third row of seats has been removed, providing a flat floor for sleeping and storing gear. A 115-volt outlet, bins, extra lashing eyes and a first aid kit are also provided.

Under the bonnet is a 3.6-litre V6 Pentastar engine (287bhp and 355Nm) paired to a nine-speed automatic and an all-wheel drive system.

Chrysler does not confirm plans to produce a production version, although such a modification could revitalise the brand's model range, which is now virtually reduced to a single Pacifica. An off-road model could attract buyers beyond the traditional family audience and compete with the Toyota Sienna Woodland Edition.
