Huawei launches the world's first 100 MW truck charging station - the station can provide 100 km of range in just 5 minutes
Huawei has officially opened its revolutionary charging station for electric trucks in Sichuan province, The charging station can deliver up to 100 MW in total, making it unique in the world. This was made possible thanks to Huawei Megawatt Supercharging technology presented at the opening ceremony. For comparison, the Kakhovka HPP destroyed by the Russians had a peak capacity of 335 MW, but only delivered this power during certain periods of the year.

The daily capacity of the charging station is an incredible 300,000 kWh, which allows it to charge up to 700 trucks daily. The station has 18 1.44 megawatt "columns", 108 600 kilowatt columns and 72 720 kilowatt columns - all liquid-cooled. The roof of the charging station is made of solar panels with a total capacity of 1 MW. A special intelligent system has been developed for the complex, which distributes electricity throughout the station, as well as a special liquid cooling control system.
The station can offer the most powerful charging port with 1.44 megawatts of output power and transmit 24 kWh of electricity per minute per car. At this rate, a vehicle can recharge 100 km of range in 5 minutes, and fill 80 per cent of a 400 kWh battery in 15 minutes. You won't even have time to cook a hot dog!
