Yesterday the largest European gaming exhibition gamescom 2025 came to an end, where a huge number of new products were announced and demonstrated.

It's time to move on and the next large-scale international event will be Tokyo Game Show 2025, which is traditionally the most prestigious exhibition in Asia.

Japanese companies always take a responsible approach to their presentations and stands at TGS and this year will be no exception: three giants of the gaming industry have revealed their plans to participate in the exhibition.

Here's What We Know

Of course, Koei Tecmo, Capcom and Bandai Namco can't miss Tokyo Game Show 2025 and have prepared loud premieres and cool shows for the audience.

Briefly about the companies' plans

Koei Tecmo will present three major projects at once:

  • Ninja Gaiden 4, the highly anticipated sequel to the iconic hardcore slasher series being developed by Team Ninja in association with PlatinumGames. The game will be released on 21 October on PS5, Xbox Series and PC, with a demo available at TGS.
  • Nioh 3 is a new chapter of Team Ninja's open-world samurai action game that will take gamers to feudal Sengoku-era Japan, plunged into the chaos of civil war and an invasion of fantasy monsters. Nioh 3 is scheduled for release in early 2026.
  • Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is a Switch 2 exclusive set in The Legend of Zelda universe. The game will be available for trial for the first time.
