Arrowhead has announced Into The Unjust, a major update to Helldivers 2
Helldivers 2 lands on Xbox Series: Sony's flagship game conquers Microsoft's console, the developers from Arrowhead Game Studios announced the next major update of the game, which will be called Into The Unjust.
Here's What We Know
Into The Unjust will be released on 2 September on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, uniting players from all platforms for the first time in the fight for Super Earth.
This time the developers will change the usual gameplay of Helldivers 2 and send players to the native worlds of the Terminids, covered with a mysterious fog. The authors will move the battles underground, where the lack of support from orbit, new tactics in confined spaces and dangerous enemies will make each mission a real challenge - you will have to rely only on your team and your own skills.
The update will introduce:
- new enemy types: underground moles, mutated terminids and flying monster Dragonroach, attacking from the air and spewing acid;
- two missions on terminid planets: destroying a hive and escorting an oil rig under constant attacks.
And from 4 September, the game will introduce a new premium merit (Warbond) Dust Devils, dedicated to survival in extreme conditions. Players will receive:
- a new weapon: AR-2 Coyote with incendiary ammunition;
- G7-Pineapple grenade with cluster charge;
- three new stratagems;
- two sets of armour, cloaks and cosmetic items.
Developers from Arrowhead Game Studios emphasise that this is just the beginning and players will travel to even more dangerous corners of the galaxy in the future.
