2 billion smartphones! Samsung's Vietnam factories achieve impressive productivity figures

Samsung has many factories around the world, which ensure consistently high production of all the company's gadgets.

The Korean giant has built facilities in South Korea, India, Brazil, Mexico and Indonesia, but the Vietnamese division is particularly efficient.

Here's What We Know

Since 2009, Samsung's factories in Vietnam, employing more than 100,000 people, have produced 2 billion smartphones!

Vietnam is a crucial link in Samsung's global supply chain. In the first half of 2025 alone, Samsung Vietnam generated US$31.6 billion in revenue.

Samsung's Vietnam factories, which are located in Bắc Ninh, Thái Nguyên and Ho Chi Minh City, produce all kinds of smartphones, from budget Galaxy models to flagship devices, including the foldable Galaxy Z Fold and Flip.

Products from Vietnam are shipped to all key markets including North America and European countries.
