Samsung trolls Apple again - this time with Galaxy AI
In a new commercial titled "No shirt? No Problem", the company demonstrates the Sketch to Image feature on the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which allows you to literally "draw" a shirt on a photo.
The plot of the advert
Two friends by the pool: one with a Galaxy Z Fold 7, the other with an iPhone. The owner of the Fold 7 wants to take a photo, but he's not wearing a shirt. The friend with the iPhone tries to cover him with a leaf, a sheet... nothing works. And then Fold 7 works its magic: the owner draws a shirt right on the photo, and Galaxy AI turns the sketch into a realistic garment. "Your iPhone can do this?" and the iPhone owner throws his phone away in frustration.
Apple AI
For most of the iPhone 16 presentation in 2024, Apple showed Apple Intelligence, a proprietary artificial intelligence that was supposed to be processed not in the cloud but directly in the mobile phone. However, the iPhone 16 was released without these features, and some of the presented mechanisms are not available even a year later. Because of this, competitors do not shy away from mocking Apple in their advertising, as Google has recently done.
