Judging by the Geekbench database, OnePlus 15 will receive Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, but there is a caveat

The OnePlus PLK110 smartphone with a Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor and 16 GB RAM, running Android 16 with OxygenOS, has appeared in the Geekbench database. This confirms previous rumours about the use of Qualcomm's flagship processor in the upcoming OnePlus 15.
But we can't help but pay attention to the results - only 639 points in the single-core test and 1,871 in the multi-core test. This flagship chip should show about 3,000 points in the single-core test and 10,000 in the multi-core test. The obvious explanation could be that the smartphone was running at a low frequency - only about 750 MHz, instead of the expected ~4.61 GHz. Presumably, the engineering device was tested in aggressive power saving mode.
