The Porsche Macan Electric can now self-park and be a gaming club
Porsche has announced a number of innovations for the 2026 model year Macan Electric. Not only will the crossover become more comfortable, but it will also get new entertainment options, from automatic parking to an integrated gaming platform.
Here's What We Know
One of the most unusual innovations is the AirConsole service. It is integrated into the Porsche App Centre and turns the crossover into a mobile game room: passengers can use smartphones as controllers and launch games directly on the central multimedia display. While the car is in motion, the entertainment is only available on the front passenger's screen - a special filter prevents the driver from seeing them. The range includes UNO, "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" and other casual games.

The list of innovations included a digital dongle compatible with iPhone, Android and Apple Watch. Thanks to NFC, Bluetooth and Ultra-Wideband, you can open and start the car without taking your gadget out of your pocket. Access to the Macan Electric can be shared with up to seven people, limiting or fully granting them driving rights.

Among the new assistants is the Trained Parking feature. The crossover "remembers" the manoeuvre at a distance of up to 50 metres and in the future can repeat it independently, for example, when driving into a tight garage. Reversing Assist works in the same way: the system reproduces the last 50 metres of the way in reverse, if it is necessary to get out of a dead end or difficult parking.
Voice Pilot is now powered by artificial intelligence and understands more complex, contextual queries. The Porsche Charging Planner has also been refined: you can now prioritise networks of charging stations.
Practicality has not been forgotten - the towing capacity of Macan 4, 4S and Turbo has been increased to 2495kg, which is 499kg more than before. Now the crossover is able to confidently pull trailers, boats and other equipment.
