The Pixel 10 Pro XL won't bend, won't melt, but is afraid of the scalpel: blogger JerryRigEverything put Google's flagship to the test
Popular techno-blogger Zach Nelson, better known as JerryRigEverything, conducted a tough test of Google's flagship smartphone Pixel 10 Pro XL and was satisfied with the durability of the gadget.
Here's What We Know
JerryRigEverything acted according to the usual scenario: he prepared "torture" tools in advance and affected the Pixel 10 Pro XL with a scalpel, fire, awl and, of course, hands.
The first blow was dealt to the display: the protective coating Gorilla Glass Victus 2 showed itself perfectly and it was damaged at the sixth and seventh levels on the Mohs scale.
Lighter flame did not damage the display at all - 20 seconds of exposure to direct fire did not affect the sensor and fingerprint scanner.
But the side edges of the smartphone and the coating around the camera unit were easily scratched with a scalpel. Side buttons are easily removed from the case, but just as easily inserted back and continue to work.
Lastly, the blogger tried to bend the Pixel 10 Pro XL: with pressure on both the inner and outer sides of the smartphone from Google did not succumb.
In general, the novelty showed excellent strength!
