Well-known insider Evan Blass has published a Lenovo Legion Go 2 promo video that leaves no doubt about the authenticity of the information.
The advert shows that the updated console, which is one of Steam Deck's main competitors, will get an 8.8″ OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and VRR support.
The updated controllers will now feature six programmable buttons, whereas the previous Legion Go can only be customised with two buttons.

The device supports multiple usage modes: tablet, console and FPS mode for shooters.
The Legion Go 2 case has a new coating, and the console will be protected from overheating by the updated Legion Coldfront cooling system.
It remains unknown what operating system Lenovo has chosen, but as a reminder, the previous model originally came out with Windows 11, but later it was joined by a variant with SteamOS, The choice is clear: a blogger proved the advantages of SteamOS over Windows 11 while using the operating system on Lenovo Legion Go S.
