Sony continues to work closely with studio IO Interactive and after the announcement of spy action 007 First Light at June's State of Play, Sony is inviting gamers to a separate show dedicated to the game.

Here's What We Know

A special edition of State of Play will take place on 3 September at 8pm (CEST), featuring an in-depth gameplay demonstration of 007 First Light.

Viewers can expect more than 30 minutes of the show, where they will see a walkthrough of the first mission of the game about the adventures of a young James Bond and learn important details about its gameplay mechanics, story, characters, setting and other nuances. It is not excluded that the developers will name the exact release date of 007 First Light.

As always, the State of Play broadcast will be available for viewing on Twitch and YouTube channels of PlayStation.

Recall, 007 First Light will tell the story of the beginning of the career of James Bond, who has not yet become a super agent and is just learning at the MI6 academy to own weapons, skills of covert operations and other wisdom of the profession.

Despite his lack of experience, Agent 007 will have to fulfil a difficult task and identify a traitor in the ranks of MI6, after which he must be eliminated, as well as prevent a coup d'état - all in the best traditions of the Bondian universe.

When We Can Expect It

007 First Light will be released in 2026 on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch 2.
