Audi's Canadian social media pages briefly posted an image of a sports coupe with a low silhouette and distinctive proportions that references the first TT. The concept looks like a mid-engined two-seater, but there is no information about the powertrain yet.

Here's What We Know

It's technically a show car, not intended for production, but the design seems much closer to the finished product than many of the brand's recent bold experiments. Especially, Audi head Gernot Döllner previously said that the company will no longer show design studies, and every concept will have a chance on the assembly line.

The premiere will take place tomorrow night. This was announced by designer Massimo Frascella, supplying the announcement with the slogan strive for clarity - "strive for clarity". The concept should give direction to Audi's new minimalist design language.

According to Döllner, the new style will be a bold step into the future, drawing on the brand's rich history. Audi's promo video illustrates this idea with shots of the TT, the 1991 Avus concept and Auto Union racing cars from the 1930s under the slogan "the legends of yesterday are the blueprint for tomorrow".
