The budget model of Pixel 10 series will be available soon: an insider has revealed some specs of Google's new smartphone
Google recently Pixel 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro Max and 10 Pro Fold, as well as Pixel Buds Pixel Watch - what was shown at Made by Google 2025, but the traditional budget model with the prefix "a" was not among them. However, according to insider information, the new low-cost smartphone will soon be on sale.
Here's What We Know
A reputable insider Mystic Leaks reported that the Google Pixel 10a will be released in early 2026, which will retain some of the features of the previous similar model and will not get the new features of the Pixel 10 series.
The Pixel 10a is expected to get a Tensor G4 processor instead of the advanced Tensor G5 and slower UFS 3.1 memory instead of the UFS 4.0 memory used by the flagship Pixel 10, starting with the 256GB version.
The telephoto lens and the new Magic Cue feature will also not be in the Pixel 10a, as the Tensor G4 won't be able to handle the necessary AI capabilities.
So far, the new product's advantage over the Pixel 9a is indicated only by its peak brightness of up to 2000 nits (the Pixel 9a has 1800 nits). In addition, it remains unknown whether the 10a will receive LTPO-panel with a refresh rate of 1-120 Hz.
The expected price of the Pixel 10a is $500.
