Xu Chase, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Realme, confirmed that the company is going to release a smartphone with a 10,000 mAh battery. The commercial release is scheduled for the first months of 2026. It is expected that the smartphone will have a body less than 8.5 mm thick and a total weight of about 210 g. These are very compact dimensions for such a battery.

The concept of a smartphone with a 15,000 mAh battery has already been shown at a fan festival - with a silicon anode and a density of 1200 Wh/L at a thickness of <9 mm. In the spring of this year, Realme showed a concept of a smartphone similar to the GT7, which had a 10,000 mAh battery. The fact that in less than a year, the company was able to bring the technology to a commercial state puts faith in our hearts that perhaps someday ordinary phones with 15000 mAh will appear on the shelves of real stores.

Possible names of this new product are currently unknown. The smartphone may be called Realme GT 10000 or Neo 8 Pro, but there is no reliable information yet.

What else will be on the market?

Honor Power 2 is expected to compete with the same 10,000 mAh battery and Dimensity 8500 processor. In general, next year we expect a fierce competition in the ultra-long-life segment.

The Neo 8 series is also in development. The smartphone should feature a 1.5K OLED LTPS screen with an ultrasound scanner, an 8000 mAh battery, and Dimensity 9500e or Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (several versions are possible).
