LG has unveiled the world's first 6K monitor with Thunderbolt 5
LG has revealed some details about its first 6K monitor, which is called the LG UltraFine 32U990A.

The new monitor from LG belongs to the segment of professional displays and in some parameters even surpasses the Apple Pro Display XDR, which was the first 6K model in the world.
LG UltraFine 32U990A is equipped with a Nano IPS Black panel with a diagonal of 31.5″, refresh rate of 60 Hz and a resolution of 6144×3456 pixels. Peak brightness reaches 600 nits in HDR mode (VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification) and 450 nits in SDR. Colour gamut: 99.5% Adobe RGB and 98.5% DCI-P3 at 10-bit colour depth
The LG UltraFine 32U990A was also the world's first Thunderbolt 5 monitor, offering up to 80Gbps transfer speeds and 96W charging. Additionally, it has four USB-C, HDMI and DisplayPort ports.
The monitor has ultra-thin bezels, an ergonomic stand with portrait orientation and built-in stereo speakers.
LG has not yet revealed the price of the 6K monitor, but it is expected to be around $1300, and sales could start as early as September.
