The announcement of the flagship Vivo X300 is approaching, and leaks, as well as company representatives themselves, have begun to publish a lot of information regarding the cameras of the upcoming smartphone. Thus, it is claimed that the smartphone will receive a 200 megapixel main module and a 200 megapixel telephoto module. The ultra-wide-angle camera will remain 50 megapixels.

  • The 200 megapixel main camera will have a Sony LYT-990 (35mm) sensor
  • 200 megapixel telephoto camera - possibly Samsung HPB, with a large sensor (1/1.4"), wide aperture, new Zeiss coating and a prism to achieve the desired focal length in a compact phone body.
  • 50 megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera
  • 50MP front camera with autofocus - same as X300 and X300 Pro

The X300 Ultra will have its own image processor, which should improve the quality of real-time video and photos.

Apparently, the company is making a serious bet on photographic capabilities, so we're looking forward to real-world tests.

As for other specifications, the X300 Ultra is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while the X300 and X300 Pro will be powered by Dimensity 9500. The X300 and X300 Pro will be announced in the near future, possibly in September or October.
