Bose has unveiled the QuietComfort Ultra 2, an updated version of its premium full-size headphones.

Here's What We Know

The new headphones have been redesigned with a focus on comfort: soft ear cushions, an improved headband and premium materials make long listening sessions as enjoyable as possible.

QuietComfort Ultra 2 is available in the classic colours Black and White Smoke, as well as the stylish new shades Driftwood Sand and Midnight Violet.

The new model has the following improvements:

  • next-generation adaptive noise cancellation - the headphones automatically adjust to the environment, ensuring perfect silence even in the noisiest environments;
  • lossless audio support via USB-C;
  • Immersive Audio mode - creates an immersive experience by immersing the user in surround sound;
  • extended battery life - up to 30 hours with active noise cancellation and up to 45 hours without;
  • Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX Adaptive and simultaneous connection to two devices;
  • fast charging via USB-C port and the ability to listen while charging.

Bose has also introduced Cinema Mode, which enhances dialogue clarity and makes voices more realistic - perfect for podcast and audiobook lovers.

Bose is keen to maintain its position in the premium headphone market and the QuietComfort Ultra 2 is a worthy reimagining of the flagship range.

The Bose QuietComfort Ultra 2 will launch on the 2nd of October. The recommended price is $449 and pre-orders are already open.
