As you know, Samsung is developing a smartphone that will fold three times. Unlike other manufacturers' trifolds, Samsung wants the smartphone to fold inwards, rather than in a Z-shaped structure, like paper brochures. This design is more complicated to implement and requires the use of an additional external display. The manufacturer made this decision because the flexible screen is very fragile to shocks and scratches, and Gorilla Glass cannot be bent. Therefore, to make the smartphone more durable, the manufacturer proposes to use an external protected display, and the internal flexible one will be completely hidden inside when folded.

Despite the approaching announcement, design details remain unknown. However, the latest firmware leak sheds some light on some features. Thus, it became known that the external screen is not located on the outer segment of the structure, but on the central unit.

As for other specifications, the internal display size is expected to be around 10 inches - on par with Huawei Mate XTs. A previous leak revealed the presence of wireless charging, which is located in the back near the cameras. The launch is expected in October 2025.
