Here's What We Know

The headphones feature a new H3 chip that provides instant audio processing and support for Apple Intelligence features. Thanks to this, AirPods Pro 3 can translate speech in real time, making them indispensable for travelling and international conversations. So far, five languages are available (English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish), but Apple promises to expand the list.

One of the main innovations is a built-in heart rate monitor that allows you to track your heart rate while listening to music or exercising, making AirPods Pro 3 a full-fledged element of Apple's health ecosystem.

Active Noise Cancellation has been significantly improved to be twice as effective as the previous generation and adapt to the environment in real time. Transparency mode has also become more natural, allowing you to hear your surroundings without losing sound quality.

The design remains recognisable, but has been given a more ergonomic shape and five sizes of ear cushions for a perfect fit. The IP57 waterproof rating allows you to use the headphones even during intense workouts or in the rain.

Battery life has increased to 8 hours with noise cancellation enabled and up to 10 hours in standard mode. The charging case supports MagSafe and fast charging, providing up to 30 hours of total run time.

The AirPods Pro 3 will go on sale on 19 September for $249. Pre-orders are already open.
