Samsung Galaxy F17 5G officially launched in India - 90Hz display and 6 years of system updates

Samsung has unveiled the new Galaxy F17 5G smartphone in India, which is the successor to the Galaxy F16 5G model. The new device has an updated design, a thinner body, Gorilla Glass Victus protection and a new Exynos 1330 processor. The display size, battery and cameras remain the same as its predecessor.

- Processor: Exynos 1330 (5 nm) with Mali-G68 MP2 graphics
- Memory: 4 or 6 GB RAM, 128 GB internal storage (expandable up to 2 TB via microSD)
- Cameras: main: 50 megapixels with optical stabilization; wide-angle: 5 megapixels; macro: 2 megapixels; front: 13 megapixels
- OS: Android 15 with One UI 7 shell, 6 OS updates and 6 years of security patches promised
- Battery: 5000 mAh with 25W charging support
- Other: Fingerprint scanner on the side, NFC, USB-C, IP54 dust and splash protection
