Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro: first details and CAD renders of the new flagship
Samsung is preparing to release Galaxy S26 Pro - a powerful and elegant smartphone. This will be the base model of the future S26 lineup, but for an as yet unnamed reason, the company's marketers have decided to add the "Pro" prefix.
Android Headlines has published exclusive CAD renders of the Galaxy S26 Pro, thanks to which details of its design became known.
Here's What We Know
The smartphone will get a redesigned camera module: three lenses are now placed on an elongated island, making the appearance more solid.
The display diagonal has been increased to 6.3″, and the bezels have become even thinner, while retaining the centre hole for the front camera. The dimensions of the device are 149.3 × 71.4 × 6.96mm, and 10.23mm including the camera protrusion. The body is made of aluminium and glass, which underlines the premium nature of the model.
The Galaxy S26 Pro is expected to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, get up to 16GB of RAM and a 4,300mAh battery. Galaxy S26 Pro has built-in magnets for Qi2 wireless charging, but reverse charging is not yet confirmed.
The main difference of the novelty from the previous basic flagship Samsung will be an ultra-wide-angle sensor with a resolution of 50 MP (12 MP in the previous model).
When We Can Expect It
The Galaxy S26 Pro is expected to be announced in January 2026, at the same time as the rest of the Galaxy S26 series.
