Atari has partnered with MyArcade Retro to launch pre-orders for the Gamestation Go, a handheld console focused on retro gaming.

Here's What We Know

Visually, the novelty is similar to many similar devices, such as Steam Deck.

Gamestation Go has a 7″ high-resolution screen, HDMI port, headphone and charger jack and two USB Type-C ports. The gadget features a classic D-Pad, trackball, numeric keypad, X, Y, A, B buttons and side buttons R1, R2, L1, L2.

The battery will provide up to 5 hours of gaming on a single charge, and Wi-Fi is supported.

Gamestation Go features SmartGlow technology - it highlights only those controls that are used in a particular game, making interaction intuitive, especially for beginners.

The console comes with over 200 pre-installed games, including:

  • classic titles from the Atari 2600, 5200, 7800 consoles;
  • arcade hits: Asteroids, Missile Command, Tempest;
  • remakes from the Atari Recharged series: Breakout: Recharged, Berzerk: Recharged;
  • legendary third-party games: PAC-MAN, Balls of Steel, Bases Loaded by Jaleco.

The device is already available for pre-order at $179, with an official release scheduled for October 2025.
