Pornhub's traffic drops during Apple's presentation, but iPhone Air doesn't win any awards
Adult content website Pornhub experienced a significant outflow of customers on 9 September. It seems that visitors left for a competing platform - the drop was clearly correlated with the Awe Dropping presentation. Interestingly, the event affected selectively Apple users, while Android users were not inspired by the event at all, and their number on Pornhub even increased by 2%.
The vibrations of the new AirPods Pro 3 managed to seduce 12.9% of the fastest visitors to the entertainment website.
Paradoxically, the Apple Watch was able to satisfy 15.3%. Perhaps it is because of the heart rate monitoring function, or maybe the visitors were just in a rage.
The iPhone 17 deservedly garnered the most sympathy from the audience - 16.6%.
I don't know what Apple was counting on, but it's impossible to keep the excitement for more than an hour, so the slim and solid iPhone Air could only satisfy 15.6% of the audience.
TheiPhone 17 Pro was able to slow down hardcore fans a bit and received 15.8% of the audience.
During Apple's September 2025 presentation, when the company unveiled its new iPhone 17, iPhone Air, AirPods Pro 3, and Apple Watch Series 11, an unexpected effect occurred: traffic to Pornhub among iPhone users dropped by 16.2%.
It is not the first year that visitors of adult services have been switching their attention to Apple's attraction. Last year's champion, also the basic iPhone 16, managed to lure almost the same amount of audience - 16.4%.
