According to Autocar, the new model should be released in 2027. The novelty will be produced at the plant in Valencia, where Ford Kuga is currently assembled.

Here's What We Know

The crossover will be available with hybrid and all-electric installation. At the same time, the Kuga will remain in the model line-up and will be sold in parallel. According to the source, the models will be close in size, share the C2 platform and key subassemblies, which will help reduce production costs.

The as yet unnamed model will occupy an intermediate position in Ford's European line-up between the Puma and Explorer. The starting price will be around €30,000 (roughly $35,000). For comparison, the most affordable Ford Focus in Germany costs from €32,100. That said, sales of the Focus will end soon.
