Honda has compiled a guide with 127 of Europe's most scenic roads
Honda has come up with an unusual way to say goodbye to the Civic Type R in Europe - to complete the almost 30-year history of the "charged" hatchback, the company has put together an interactive map with more than 120 of the best roads for driving on the continent.
Here's What We Know
The Honda Dream Drives project covers 25 countries across Europe, from northern Scotland to southern Spain. The selection includes both iconic routes - the Passe dello Stelvio in Italy, the Transfăgărășan in Romania, France's Col de Turini and Scotland's North Coast 500 - and lesser-known roads recommended by local enthusiasts. All routes can be filtered by type (mountain, coastal, scenic or cross country). Navigation launches directly into Google Maps via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

Nik Pearson, head of corporate communications at Honda Motor Europe, that such a map is the best way to complete the Civic Type R's story in Europe.
The Type R first appeared in Europe in 1997 with the Integra, but achieved true cult status with the Civic EP3. Over a quarter of a century and five generations, over 70,000 cars have been sold, and the model has set lap records at Spa-Francorchamps, Magny-Cours, Estoril and Silverstone. The Civic Type R FL5 remains the fastest front-wheel drive production car at the Nürburgring with a lap time of 7 minutes 44.881 seconds.
