iQOO 15 will receive a record-breaking 6000 nits screen and three light sensors (+ first real photos)
iQOO has decided to stir up interest in its new iQOO 15 smartphone and revealed unique details about the screen, which is already being called a "brightness monster". The device will have a 2K Samsung Everest display, which, according to the manufacturer, is the brightest screen in the world.
Triple sensor
Have you ever had a situation when the light falls on only one part of the smartphone and the smartphone exhibits uncomfortable display brightness? IQOO engineers have had it too. So, they decided to equip the new flagship with three light sensors at once - on the front, on the back cover and on the top edge. Now, no matter which way you hold your smartphone, smart algorithms will find the arithmetic mean and select the ideal screen brightness. We will see how the technology will work in practice only after the smartphone is released, but 2-3 microphones in smartphones used to be a thing of the past.
Brightest, dimmest
Such a complex adjustment system is needed for a reason - the smartphone will have the widest brightness range in the world: from 1 to 6000 nits. IQOO's brand manager explains that auto-brightness requires three components to work well: a high-quality screen, fast intelligent software, and a good light sensor.
Like the iPhone, IQOO 15 will take into account not only the external brightness but also the content displayed on the screen. IQOO15 will receive Dolby Vision Certification to adjust the colour gamut to the content.
In the last generation, only the top-end versions of IQOO 13 received screens with an anti-reflective layer, but IQOO 15 will have such a coating in the entire line. The brand's representative claims that IQOO 15 will have the best screen in the world - the same one I have in Galaxy S26 Ultra. The scratch protection will also be similar to Galaxy Ultra and iPhone 17. It is also claimed that in blind screen tests, users unmistakably recognised the iQOO 15 panel - precisely because of its brightness and colours.

Also recently, the first "live" photo of IQOO 15 has been released.
When We Can Expect It
The official announcement of iQOO 15 is expected in the near future. Leaks indicate that the flagship will have a battery of over 7000 mAh with 100W charging, a metal body, a top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Elite 5, and a good set of cameras with a high-quality telephoto module.
