Flashback
One UI 8 doesn't bring radical changes like One UI 7, but it does include a lot of useful innovations:
- Improved multitasking: Quick Share got a full-screen mode, Split Screen became more flexible, Samsung Dex allows you to change screen resolution and orientation.
- Personalisation: live wallpapers change depending on the time of day, new routines - morning briefing, umbrella reminder and others.
- App updates: Gallery automatically sorts screenshots, My Files filters files by download source, Weather and Reminder have been redesigned, and Calendar is now integrated with reminders and allows you to drag and drop tasks.
- Privacy and accessibility: Secure Folder supports a separate fingerprint and can be completely hidden, and new zoom and control features have been added.
- Other improvements: Camera lets you customise gestures, Bluetooth lets you connect devices via QR code, Samsung Health compares sports achievements with friends, and alarms can now be grouped and managed from the home screen.
