Assassin's Creed Shadows has received its first story add-on Claws of Awaji
The release of the first story add-on Claws of Awaji for Assassin's Creed Shadows has taken place. In honour of this event Ubisoft released a special trailer and invites gamers to return to feudal Japan.
Here's What We Know
The add-on is already available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox Series and offers more than 10 hours of content, additional equipment items and several abilities. The main gameplay innovation will be a new type of weapon - staff Bo.
In Claws of Awaji, Naoe and Yasuke are travelling to the mysterious island of Awaji to find a lost treasure. They will be hunted down by Sanzoku Ippa and will have to fight for survival, avoiding deadly traps and ambushes set by their enemies.
Much of the DLC will focus on the story of Naoe's mother and the casket she guarded.
Claws of Awaji takes up between 12GB and 33GB of storage across platforms.
Those who pre-ordered any edition of Assassin's Creed Shadows will get the add-on for free.
