Official renders and specifications of Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 and A11+ tablets leaked
As you know, Samsung skipped the A10 line and is preparing budget tablets Tab A11 (8.7″, 1340×800) and Tab A11+ (11″, 1920×1200). Both will have 90Hz refresh rates and seven years of updates.
The Tab A11 will have a Helio G99 processor, 4 to 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of storage. The Tab A11+ will get the newer 4nm MediaTek MT8167, with 6 to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. The storage in both variants can be expanded via microSD card up to 2TB.
Both tablets will have an 8-megapixel main camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Tab A11 will have a 5100 mAh (15W) battery, while its sibling, the Tab A11+, will have a 7040 mAh (25W) battery. The Tab A11 will have two stereo speakers, while the A11+ will have a 4-speaker system. An important common characteristic is that Samsung promises 7 years of major system and security updates, which is a rarity for budget tablets. It's hard to imagine an update to Android 23 on the 4GB A11 in 2032, perhaps Samsung is referring to the OneUI shell update.
Both models are very similar to the Tab A9 (2023) series in terms of specifications, so the main upgrade is not hardware, but long-term support. If the pricing is similar to the A9, they could be a good option for students and contract users.
