Redmi 15R 5G - a budget smartphone with Dimensity 6300 and 6000 mAh battery announced
Redmi has released a new entry-level smartphone in China - the Redmi 15R 5G, which will delight users with a large battery and a thin, secure body.
The thickness of the smartphone is 7.99 mm on a larger surface area, and the weight is 205 grams, which is a good indicator for a smartphone with a 6000 mAh battery. Redmi offers four colour options: Cloud White, Lime Green, Twilight Purple and Star Rock Black.
On the front panel is a 6.9-inch display with a teardrop notch that supports a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 810 nits in high brightness mode. The sensor is equipped with Wet Touch 2.0 technology, which allows you to use it even with wet fingers.
The Redmi 15R 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300, manufactured using TSMC's 6nm process technology. The cameras here are modest: the main 13-megapixel sensor on the back supports HDR.
The smartphone runs on HyperOS 2 based on Android 15, and has several useful accessibility features, including a large font mode and up to 200% volume boost. For those who are not ready to give up the classics, there is a 3.5 mm audio jack. The 6000mAh silicon-carbon battery is capable of providing up to two days of use on a single charge.
