From 1 January 2026, Steam will no longer support 32-bit Windows operating systems. Currently, the minimum available Steam client configuration runs on Windows 10 32-bit, and is used on less than 0.01% of devices according to the Steam Hardware Survey.

The Steam client will continue to work on Windows 10 32-bit, but will not receive any updates, including security updates. Technical support for 32-bit systems will also no longer be provided. Installed 32-bit games will continue to work without any problems.
