Reputable insider and journalist Jeff Grubb shared some interesting news about two legendary hardcore FromSoftware games that have not yet been released on PC. Of course, we are talking about Bloodborne and Demon's Souls.

Here's What We Know

Many gamers are in genuine bewilderment as to why, despite the massive success of Bloodborne, Sony has never attempted to develop the franchise since 2015. There have been rumours of a remaster, PC version and even a sequel, but they have never been confirmed.

Jeff Grubb asked his sources what Sony's plans are for Bloodborne and they said there are none. "Nothing is happening with Bloodborne" is how knowledgeable people describe the situation. Grubb believes Sony doesn't want to take the risk of developing the series without FromSoftware Studios, which has multiple projects in the works, and its head Hidetaka Miyazaki has repeatedly stated that he has no desire to return to Bloodborne.

But Grubb has learnt some good news: the Demon's Souls (2020) remake, which was a launch exclusive for PlayStation 5, is coming to PC soon. A corresponding announcement is expected at Sony's upcoming show, which is rumoured to take place in the last days of September.

As a reminder, the original Demon's Souls is the progenitor of the popular souls-like genre and is not available on any platform other than the PS3 and Xbox 360, while its remake remains a PlayStation 5 exclusive.
