OPPO has officially confirmed that a new generation of flagship smartphones - the Find X9 series - will be unveiled on 16 October. The lineup is expected to include Find X9 and Find X9 Pro.

Here's What We Know

Find X9 Pro will feature the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, which was announced today. It will be one of the first smartphones to use this processor. Changes in the architecture promise a significant increase in performance and energy efficiency - previous leaks indicated the first place in Geekbench and demonstrated performance higher than the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

The smartphones will run on ColorOS 16, a new version of OPPO's proprietary shell. It will feature an updated design, improved animations, and new personalisation features. New AI-based features are also expected.

Previous leaks indicated the presence of a high-quality camera with a Sony LYT-900 sensor, as well as a premium ceramic body. OPPO traditionally focuses on the photographic capabilities of its flagships, so we can expect major updates in this area.
