ASUS has expanded its professional display line-up and introduced the ProArt Cinema PQ09U, a giant 162″ 4K resolution monitor built on Micro LED technology. Despite its size, it's a monitor, not a TV, and is positioned as a solution for studios, cinema halls, exhibition spaces and creative agencies.

Here's What We Know

The monitor was first shown at NAB Show 2025, where it caused a stir among professionals. With a pixel pitch of just 0.93mm, it delivers incredible clarity even when viewed up close, making it ideal for colour correction, editing and presentations.

The ProArt Cinema PQ09U supports HDR, with brightness up to 1200 nits, 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and 97% DCI-P3 coverage to ensure accurate colour reproduction. Built-in Wi-Fi 7 and 10GbE Ethernet modules allow for fast transfer of heavy files, while the presence of NPU and AI GPU accelerates AI workflows.

The price and on-sale date have not yet been disclosed.
