Xiaomi seems to be working on a new tablet under the Poco brand, the Poco Pad M1. According to preliminary data, the device may enter the global market as a rebranded version of the yet-to-be-announced Redmi Pad 2 Pro.

What is known at the moment:

The Poco Pad M1 will be the debut device in the new Poco Pad M line of tablets, which will be aimed at the mid-range and budget segments. The tablet has been listed on Xiaomi's official software support page as well as in the FCC database. The Poco Pad M1 is expected to feature a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, while the Redmi Pad 2 Pro is expected to be powered by the newer Snapdragon 7s Gen 4.

The tablet is likely to have a 12.1-inch LCD panel with a 2.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. A variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage is expected. Rumours claim that the battery capacity will be 12,000 mAh, and the tablet will support 27W fast charging. The device is likely to run on HyperOS 2.
Although the Poco Pad M1 and Redmi Pad 2 Pro share an internal model number (P83), there are technical differences between them, indicating partial rather than complete identity.
